As a name for the project, ROCKY RIVER RADIO proved impossible to resist. For decades, Jürgen Kalwa has lived above the banks of the upper Housatonic River—a storied stretch of water favored by kayakers and fly fishermen and revered by writers and visual artists. A distinctive New England setting that inspired him to return to his passion for making music and broadcasting it on its own frequency. 

One Project, Two Main Themes
The Parlor Pop of ROCKY RIVER RADIO–accessible, artistically rich–comes in two flavors:

• Chill-out Soul: Songs infused with a cool jazz sensibility.
• Upbeat FM: Compositions driven by dynamic drum beats and bold and lively brass.
